Refund policy

GILNER FARRAR accepts RETURNS for a REFUND or EXCHANGE according to the following Return Policy:
For items purchased from a retailer or outlet OTHER than this Gilner Farrar Shopify online store, please contact that seller and refer to that seller's policies.
Gilner Farrar is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

RETURN PERIOD:

For sale items see "SALE ITEMS" below.

For items, other than sale items, purchased online through this Gilner Farrar Shopify store: requests for returns for either a REFUND or an EXCHANGE will be processed if the return request is received within 30 days after the purchase date.

RETURN REQUEST:

To request a return please send an email to: customercare@gilnerfarrar.com

1) within the return period (30 days after the purchase date).

2) include the order number.

3) indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange, and

4) if you would like an exchange, indicate what size.

5) Customer Care will process your request and send you an email with further instructions.


PRODUCT CONDITION:

The item(s) must be unused and in the original condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and with the original tags still attached.

EXCHANGES:

Please follow the instructions under “RETURN REQUEST”.

If the requested size is available in stock at the time of the request processing, the item will be sent to you. If the requested size is not available, Customer Care will contact you.

REFUNDS:

Please follow the instructions under “RETURN REQUEST”.

Once your item has been returned and inspected the refund will be processed, however:

No refund will be issued for any item not in its original condition, that is damaged or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

No refund will be issued for any item that is received after 14 days passed the date the return instructions email was sent.

If a refund has been approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment. The processing time will largely depend on your original payment institute’s internal processing.

SALE ITEMS:

All items sold as "Sale" or "Final Sale" items are final sales and cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.

GIFTS:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will notify the gift giver of your return and send the refund to the gift giver.

RETURN SHIPPING:

*  "Continental United States" is in this policy excludes U.S. territories such as Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska.

The return shipping instructions (if applicable) will be included in the email you will receive after your return request has been processed. 

Approved returns shipped within the continental United States* are free. A return label will be provided to you. If items are returned without a return authorization, a free return label or reimbursement cannot be claimed. 

For returns from outside the continental United States* the shipping cost will vary. The shipping cost will be deducted from your refund (if applicable).

If you are shipping without a return label provided by us, you should consider using a shipping service that can be tracked and purchasing shipping insurance.

You can review the most current version of the Return Policy at any time at this page. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of this Return Policy by posting updates and changes to this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or use of our service following the posting of any changes to this Return Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
